Scraps of culture, trends and plots, leftovers from fashion blogs, influencer poses and aspirational magazines are revisited in an ironic and surreal light.
Inspired by the cult program Blob, conceived in 1989 by Enrico Ghezzi, the artist Rosa Iannuzzi reworks current events, adding fascinations of an all-Italian adolescence of the 90's.
Born in 1984, Rosa Iannuzzi is part of that generation exposed without filters to TV and magazines and that of that liquid story of Ghezzi makes a process of mental archiving, where everything is cleverly confused, but remains defined by a clear outline and flat colours that hardly leave room for nuances.
