BALT Session invites painters, emerging and established, to apply to this open call to perform a live painting during one of their monthly events.
Submissions and proposals are invited to include any genre and style.
We welcome photos of your paintings, your live sessions, illustrations, etc...
The submissions will be considered in context of this specific open call.
Selected submissions will be reviewed by the team at BALT Session and clhub.art is taking care of the communication with the applicants.
Only one applicant will be selected. Other applicants may be considered for next sessions.
How many images should I submit and what are the technical requirements?
We ask you to submit max 24 pictures as example of your artworks. Please try to upload images below 4mb.
All technical requirements are outlined in the application form and checked upon receipt of submission, so we ask all applicants to adhere to these, as otherwise you will be asked to re-submit the images.
Is my performance paid ?
Yes, there is a budget of 70 EUR + IVA
(Materials will be gently offered by Raima)
How long should my live painting be?
It depends, consider the session is about 4 hours.
You can either use the whole 4 hours or less than that.
We can then discuss this further if you are selected.
What is happening to the artwork produced during the event?
The artwork will be listed on your Clhub.art profile and in the online gallery of Balt Session.
You can decide either to donate the work to BALT Session which will be object of a raffle within the comunity in exchange of online promotion, or you can decide to list your artwork for sale and the price you prefer with 10% commissions on sale applied to BALT Session.
Will you communicate results with all artists?
Yes, we will communicate the results with all clhub.art community.
