More info

NEDA stands for Network for European Digital Arts and it is an event project by a group of creative organizations in Europe.

In 2023, NEDA will host a 2 days event in each of the following cities:
Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, and Lisbon.

The idea behind the development of NEDA is to play an essential and active role in the social incorporation of technological developments. Creating a context in which issues related to the social impact of technology are explored through critical dialogue, artistic reflection, and practice-oriented research of various topics that are part of the forefront of new technologies challenging the society we live in and the ethical beliefs of many groups within this society.NEDA 2023 events will focus on Artificial Intelligence and explore projects addressing awareness, learning, and the relationship between AI and the environment. NEDA wants to bring the audience close to AI realities in order to facilitate the development of new points of view around the relationships between people and technology in the age of datafication, when something so pragmatic as the logic behind software development and progress is opposed to abstract feelings and untouchable connections people build among them and with their surroundings.

This open call is for artists who want to participate in one of the four NEDA events that will take place in 2023.
In 2023, NEDA will host a two days event in each of the following cities: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, and Lisbon.
