The series of paintings are the sum of experiments with colors and techniques, all paintings are created “live” without previous sketches and assumptions, some of them are on previous canvases that weren’t satisfying enough.
Working daily with design in the digital world, I treat painting as an element of relaxation and a form of exercising and developing my creativity in a manual way. It brings me a sense of distraction from everything - a kind of meditation, but also quite extreme emotions depending on the level of satisfaction with the work achieved.
All paintings were painted between May 2021 and January 2022 and this is my first exposure to abstract painting. Subsequent works vary depending on the periods in which they were created - additional experiments and different approaches to tools or techniques make this an ongoing process of change and discovery.
