"Born in La Plata, Argentina, Naiara grew up listening to and dancing African music. It was just a child's play for her ears and imagination. However, later on, it became her life. She is graduated in music at Belas Artes - University of La Plata. Also studied singing, percussion, piano, Afro Contemporary and Tango (typical Argentinian dance) dances, and acrobatics with skilled instructors chosen by her for their sensibility, respect, and love for arts. The artistic path she took influenced her studies, becoming interested in Latin American and African's ancestor's music culture. Today, she is a graduate Ethnomusicologist teacher, researching and transmitting ethnic and folklore music and dances that originate from various sociocultural scenarios and deepening her understanding of music in its context.
